 Poppy

Maia

Maia the Boxer is owned by Gill and Mish and is 6 years old.  Despite her rather fierce appearance, Maia is a very friendly dog and is good friends with Vera and Graham.

Jess

Jess is a 13 year old Ridgeback who belongs to Bob.  She was re-homed to Bob when she was 2 years old, following a marriage break-up.

She is a very friendly dog but Bob says her 'lion-fighting' instinct came out once when she saw a lion on the television and started growling at it!

 Bobby

Bobby is a four year old dog who has the most beautiful eyes.  His owner, Rita, says they reminded her of a fox when she first saw him.

Pippa

This is Pippa, a 12 month-old lurcher from the Dogs Trust at Roden near Telford.

Her owners John and Mary say she is very friendly with other dogs, but hates cats!

Alfie

Cocker Spaniel Alfie is enjoying a paddle.  He is owned by Jackie and family.

Onyx and Kane

 Rottweilers Onyx and Kane are relaxing after their morning walk in the park.  They are owned by Alan.

This photo of Poppy the Springer puppy was taken on her first day in the park, aged 11 weeks.  She is owned by June, whose other dogs Holly and Daisy sadly died in 2005.  Welcome to the park Poppy!

Graham loves Jess and he doesn't care if she is twice as big as him!

Cleo

Cleo was a stray who was treated for her injuries by the RSPCA and then rehomed to Harold and Margaret.  Cleo is now about 10 years old. She is a very gentle dog, and everybody's friend.  She often accompanies Harold to the allotments where she behaves impeccably.

Molly and Toto 

Molly and Toto are two Westies who are lucky enough to now live with Hazel.  Molly is 6 and has lived with Hazel for the past 4 years as she was no longer wanted by her previous owners.  Toto is 14 and came to live with Hazel when his previous owner died 3 years ago.

Hazel has now had 6 dogs from Westie Rescue, the oldest one was Jessie who was 15.

Lily

Lily the Staffie is walked in the park by Dot, with her greyhound Ellie.

Tilly

This beautiful dog is Tilly.  She belongs to Charlotte and Kevin and is about 6 years old.  Tilly is another of our Barkers from the Birmingham Dogs Home.

Sam and Meg

Sam (11) and Meg (10) belong to Helen and are both rescues.  Sam came from Birmingham Dogs' Home and Meg from Border Collie Rescue.  Sam likes to have a swim in the river but Meg just likes a paddle.
