What is Bark for the Park?
Bark for the Park is a community-based action group which voices the concerns of dog owners who use Perry Hall Playing Fields in Perry Barr, Birmingham, England.

It was started by Betty and Pat, two dog-owners, in 2001 to address various problems in Perry Hall Playing Fields, Perry Barr, Birmingham, England. Buster and Suki, two of the 'regulars' The group is now made up of dog-owners who use Perry Hall Playing Fields every day of the year, even Christmas Day. It is recognised by Birmingham City Council and consulted on matters concerning the park.

Over the past four years we have successfully campaigned for:-

An area in the park to be left in its natural state while Fritillaries were flowering. The Parks Department agreed to mow the area once flowering was over.
